The State of Arizona is the recipient of a State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP) award from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) under the United States Department of Commerce to assist the state as it plans for a nationwide public safety broadband network.
Arizona SLIGP Team:
The Arizona Public Safety Broadband Network Working Group is a group of individuals interested in the development of a dedicated broadband network for public safety. The working group meets via conference call on the first Thursday of each month to discuss issues pertinent to the project and get updates on the status of the federal FirstNet initiative.
