The fully interactive, web-based, Arizona Broadband Maps put powerful tools and information directly into the hands of planners and citizens.
They are designed to help with the broadband network mapping for the development of cities, and to increase broadband access and adoption through better data collection and broadband planning.
They pinpoint locations of schools, libraries, police departments and anything else that uses broadband.
Arizona is now gathering Internet speed data on the average actual download and upload speeds experienced by users, by asking end users to do speed tests on their existing service.
This information is then added to the various Arizona Broadband Maps.
